About
ASTRO-H, to be launched in late 2015 or early 2016, is the sixth X-ray mission led by ISAS in Japan, being developed in close collaboration with the US, Canada, and Europa (including ESA and SRON).
The X-ray micro-calorimeter spectrometer SXS on ASTRO-H will realize high-resolution X-ray spectroscopy of hot diffuse plasmas in the 0.3—12 keV range for the first time. This revolutionary new instrument will improve the energy resolution at the iron-K band 20—30 times and open up new science fields in supernova remnants, interstellar medium, galaxies and clusters of galaxies.
The purpose of this joint seminar is to discuss how to tackle the unprecedented high-resolution X-ray spectra to be obtained with ASTRO-H. For this purpose, the seminar will consist of lectures, contributed presentations, and an interactive analysis workshop.

本セミナーはJSPS/NWO二国間セミナーとして開催されるため，参加費用 (宿泊費・交通費等) は原則，主催者側から拠出できる予定です (以下，これを補助とよびます)。
ただし，以下の例外にご注意ください。
宿泊費・交通費の補助を受けるには，2/23 (月) までに参加申し込みをしていただく必要があります。これ以降も参加申し込みは受け付け致しますが，その場合，交通費・宿泊費をお支払いすることはできません。ただし，レセプション・エクスカーション等の費用は申し込み時期に関わらず主催者側で負担致します。
補助を受けたいが，確実に参加できるか不明な場合や，一部日程のみ参加可能な見通しである場合には，申し込みフォームの備考欄にひとことお書き添え頂いたうえで，まず 2/23 (月) までに参加申し込みをしてください。のちほど，個別にご相談・調整させて頂きます。
参加者多数の場合 (40名程度を超えるとき)，全員の費用を負担できない場合があります。その場合，自主財源をお持ちの方には交通費・宿泊費の補助をご遠慮頂くよう個別にお願いする可能性があります。
