Scope and Backgroud

The objective of this workshop is to bring together experts in the field of correlated systems from Japan and Switzerland to discuss the latest developments in the field. We especially focus on supporting young scientists and incubating scientific collaborations between the two communities. This Japan-Switzerland Joint Workshop is a sequel to the previous one, TTCM2013, held at EPFL in Lausanne, Oct. 2-5, 2013.

The scope of the conference focuses on emerging new topics in strongly correlated many-body systems including

novel and unconventional superconductors
exotic quantum dynamics
non-equilibrium states and transports
topological phases
multiferroics, skyrmion dynamics
new computational approaches
...
